One of the highlights of my trip to Rome. The caccio e Pepe pasta was to die for. So creamy and the pasta itself was on point.
The tiramisu is definitely something everyone should try. -

Very good. I got the Strazzopeni with the pesto sauce which I know I shouldn't because Pesto isn't Rome's specialty but I figured in Italy would be still better than the States. The pasta was vegan by itself but of course the pesto with added cheese doesn't keep it that way anymore.
Service was really friendly and it took like 5-7 minutes so I ducked into the little leather shop across the street and when I popped my head up they had mine ready. The flavor was really good and the pasta cooked well with a generous sprinkle of cheese. Great for a quick pasta fix.
We also ended up getting it once more when we were tired and just wanted to eat in our hotel room, the gnocchi with pesto was very good, the gnocchi pretty light, slightly chewy. My husband and tubey pasta with spicy sauce and that was something really special. It tasted something straight out of a restaurant for how perfectly it was cooked and I would highly recommend it. -

plus for the value and quality.
there's not many places like it (except what seems like their competitor across the street) so extra points for being different.
i had the vegan farfalle with pesto which wasn't too bad. it was like a whole grain pasta, which i normally don't like but it was cooked really well. my wife got the strozzapreti with cacio e pepe because they ran out of butter for the burro e parmesan sauce she wanted. cacio e pepe was great and both meals were super cheap! i ordered the bigger portion and couldn't finish.
great value, definitely worth a trip if you're looking for something quick maybe to take back home if you need a break from the sit-down restaurant scene. -

One of Rome's most notable cheap eats with a lot of love put into their dishes! A great hole in the wall to grab a quick bite for lunch. Highly recommend !

It was the most economical budget lunch in Rome. €4 for everything, wish they brought back the Bolognese I guess the menu changes from time to time. Also wish they had a paper plate options vs only in takeaway bucket paper containers! Extra charge for extra cheese, fork or extra napkins?!?
